Starting a successful business

If you ask me what is the key to building a solid building, I would say have a good foundation, a foundation that supports the structure of the building to withstand earthquakes and natural disasters. Solid foundations.

If you ask me what is the key to building a solid company, the answer would be the same solid foundations. And these bases are given when one really knows what they want from your business.

Much has been heard of Vision, Mission and the Purposes of the business, these are the moment of truth the foundation of it. Coupled with other concepts such as business plan, brand and systematization, are those who build a successful business, solid, safe from the vagaries of the economy, contingencies, failures and successes.

But what are those three words we see framed in the reception of some business or promotional material of the same? What magic may have to deserve to be displayed so proudly?

These three words contain the reason we have to start a business, to begin a quixotic adventure as that of a venture. They embodied how we view the company and what we want. Those words are our “constitution” business philosophy and all those who work in the company must know and understand. And all that relate to it should be able to consult on how to interact with us.

I’ll try to summarize in a simple and practical for everyone to be clear about its meaning, which is essential when we are thinking about starting a business.

The Vision.

Leaders have vision, and that means looking ahead in time, so the more clarity you have about your long-term vision, the easier it is for you to take short term decisions to make that vision a reality.

To understand what is the vision, you simply must ask:

If your business in the future what would it be perfect?

How would you like, what kind of products would, what would your reputation if you have a perfect business?

The answers to these questions are what you should write and write and your business vision.

The Purpose

Why are you in business?

Why are you doing what you do?

What is the purpose of being in this business?

And this why he always has to do with other people, make changes or improvements in the lives of others. You should know the purpose and EVERYONE in your business should be aware of it.

The Mission

Ask yourself the question:

What I want to accomplish and achieve my clients?

“Our mission is to provide the best products and quality services to this particular client in this particular market and as a result become a company of x million dollars”

Everyone has to buy under that mission and you should be clear about the same. Also, you should have your personal mission and your family.

Develop a strategic plan for your business and write, put it, What is your vision, your purpose and your mission. And the next question is to do what your goals and objectives for your business.

Why I want to start a business?

I remember I was about 26 when I had the idea of starting a business, I prepared and launched an innovative idea of video store we drove with my girlfriend, who is now my wife. All was well in the business, I continued working during the day while my girlfriend was attending on the day and after work I helped him. We married and our first child when he decided to close the deal for my wife to be devoted fully to the baby.

It took 10 years for entrepreneurial fever catch it again, this time I quit my job and devoted myself entirely to my own company. This time was a radical change in my life that was to begin again, this time in another country.

I know you may be thinking of you reading this article because I went through the same thing you are going through. I was scared, almost paralyzed me the idea of retiring from my job and leave a stability that allowed the money to take home. Every year I ever had in my years starting purposes, the same, “this year I will start my own business,” but each year got my courage up and faded faded as increasing a couple of months after I issued. Comfortable life, fear of failure and my two children, at that time, I stopped to take the big step.

Maybe now that so many people have lost their jobs, others are making determinations for them, are pushing to change the lives and start their own ventures. I took a lot thinking about it, I think I lost many years could have invested in making my dreams, I have no regrets because he never disowned my work, but I think I lost many opportunities because they are paralyzed waiting up the nerve to leave.

There are many people who want a guide to starting your business, so I started writing and I started this blog to try to steer them because as I went through the same thing. I also was afraid, I had illusions that were stored on paper and I also had frustrations at not having had the courage to take that step before.

The vast majority of people I know do not start a business because they can not find a person to help them do it, someone who will motivate and teach them the way. Many of them have to wait for an unforeseen circumstance like a layoff, business closure, a sudden economic drive you decide to start your own business, but it is more by instinct of survival based on an action carefully studied. However, many businesses become successful because entrepreneurs need not make Claudine in their attempt.

If all the people who start the year thinking that start a business that year they did, the economy of our country would be different, more prosperous and dynamic.

Small businesses have been, are and will be the engine of our economy. Most large companies today, small businesses were usually started in times of crisis. Henry Ford started his business in his garage, Thomas Edison had his laboratory in the train car, Michael Dell in his college dorm. People like Bill Gates, George Westinghouse, Alexander Bell, Jeff Bezos, among others, began with an idea only an illusion, and little money in his pocket. They have revolutionized the world and built successful companies began as yours can start in your living room, garage, or bedroom.

If you have the “virus” of the entrepreneur, ask yourself why you want to start a business, and not think too much, take courage. I promise I’ll keep writing, and gain interesting items to help you get started and contribute information for your new business become a successful business.
